Exorex (=Linotar) superior to conventional coal tar lotion
Exorex (Linotar) is superior to a conventional coal tar lotion (5%) for treatment of mild to moderate psoriasis, and may be preferred as a first-line topical treatment according to a study published in the 2003 issue of the Journal of Dermatological Treatment.

Exorex as effective as Dovonex (Daivonex)
Exorex has been found to be as effective as Dovonex (Daivonex) in treating psoriasis in a study published in the August 2003 issue of the British Journal of Dermatology.

- Exorex is as effective as Dovonex in treating psoriasis.
- Exorex provided the same length of psoriasis remission as Dovonex.
- The cosmetic properties of Exorex were greatly improved over other coal tar products.
- Exorex is several times less expensive than Dovonex (Daivonex).

Based on these results the study concluded that Exorex is a very useful topical treatment for chronic moderate-to-severe plaque type psoriasis.
